As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a motivated and reliable Drilling Offsider to join our field drilling team.

About the Role

As a Drilling Offsider, you will provide essential support to drilling operators during environmental and geotechnical drilling projects. Your role will involve preparing drilling sites, assisting with equipment setup and maintenance, and ensuring safe, efficient field operations across diverse work environments.

Key Responsibilities

Assist drilling operators with setup and breakdown of drilling equipment
Manage site preparation, including traffic control and safety setups
Support sample collection and site documentation
Maintain drilling tools and equipment in good working order
Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures onsite
Communicate effectively with the drilling team and site supervisors
Assist with the transport of equipment and materials to and from sites

Required Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience in a labouring, construction, or field support role preferred
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and site conditions
Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment safely
Current White Card (Construction Induction) or willingness to obtain
Valid Australian driver’s licence (manual preferred)
Strong work ethic, reliability, and good communication skills

Highly Regarded (but not essential)

Previous experience on drilling or geotechnical projects
Traffic Control certification
First Aid certification
