Managing Director
Antony Critcher is the Managing Director of Geotrace Australia and brings over 23 years of industry experience in utility locating, ground penetrating radar (GPR), non-destructive excavation, and geotechnical/environmental drilling. Starting in the field at just 17, Antony has worked across thousands of sites Australia-wide, developing a deep technical understanding and a reputation for practical, results-driven solutions.
Under his leadership, Geotrace has expanded into a multi-service operation supporting civil, construction, infrastructure, and environmental projects—known for combining field experience with advanced tech and clear deliverables.
Antony remains actively involved in day-to-day operations, from GPR scanning and subsurface mapping to managing complex drilling programs using rigs like the Comacchio 205. His field knowledge ensures Geotrace delivers safe, accurate, and efficient outcomes across a wide range of ground conditions.
When he’s not on-site or behind the scenes managing projects, Antony plays competitive ice hockey and enjoys time with his family, tinkering with tools and gear, and staying sharp on the rink and in the field.

Office Manager
Jess is the Office Manager at Geotrace Australia and plays a key role in keeping the business running efficiently. She oversees scheduling, client communications, project coordination, and ensures that both the office and field teams are fully supported across every stage of a job.
With a strong background in administration and business operations, Jess brings structure, reliability, and a calm, solutions-focused approach to a fast-paced environment. Her attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities makes her an essential part of the Geotrace team.
Outside of work, Jess enjoys travelling, spending time with family, and cooking up a storm in the kitchen. Her natural organisational skills and team-first mindset carry through in both her professional and personal life.

Jordan is Geotrace Australia’s longest-standing team member and a highly respected Senior Locator. With a background in NBN infrastructure and years of experience across a wide range of locating environments, Jordan brings a pragmatic, no-nonsense approach to the field. His deep technical knowledge, calm under pressure, and clear decision-making make him a go-to for complex jobs requiring precision and reliability.
Jordan has worked across countless sites, from inner-city utility corridors to large-scale infrastructure and civil projects. His ability to interpret plans, adapt to challenging ground conditions, and deliver accurate outcomes makes him a trusted asset to clients and colleagues alike.
Outside of work, Jordan enjoys keeping active at the gym, getting outdoors, and camping when he can. He brings the same grounded, steady approach to life as he does on site—always dependable, always prepared.

Brandon is a valued member of the Geotrace Australia team, bringing fresh energy and international experience to our locating crew. Originally from the UK, Brandon specialised in stormwater and sewer infrastructure, gaining a strong foundation in underground service detection and drainage systems before making the move to Australia.
Now working as a Utility Locator with Geotrace, Brandon applies his technical background and hands-on approach to a variety of civil and construction projects. He’s proven himself as a reliable and detail-focused operator, with a keen eye for interpreting plans and identifying underground assets safely and efficiently.
Outside of work, Brandon takes full advantage of the Aussie lifestyle—spending his spare time surfing and enjoying the coast whenever he can.

David is a skilled Utility Locator at Geotrace Australia, bringing a solid background in NBN infrastructure and a strong understanding of underground service detection. With a methodical approach and a focus on accuracy, David plays a key role in ensuring safe and efficient outcomes on-site.
Before joining Geotrace, David gained valuable experience working on large-scale telecommunications projects, which sharpened his skills in cable identification, asset protection, and interpreting complex network plans.
Outside of work, David enjoys gaming, camping, and getting off the grid when he can. Whether he’s navigating digital worlds or remote bushland, he brings the same calm, focused mindset to every task.

Shaun is the Senior Driller at Geotrace Australia, bringing years of hands-on experience and a solid reputation for precision, safety, and reliability. Fully licensed and holding a NSW Water Well Driller’s Licence and Certificate III in Drilling Operations, Shaun leads our geotechnical and environmental drilling operations with expertise and confidence.
From operating our Comacchio rig to installing monitoring wells and managing challenging ground conditions, Shaun combines technical skill with a practical, problem-solving mindset. His commitment to quality and efficiency ensures every project is delivered to a high standard—on time and on target.
Outside of work, Shaun enjoys catching live music gigs and spending quality time with his family. A loyal Penrith Panthers supporter, he shows up with energy and commitment—both on site and in the stands.

Tala is a key part of the Geotrace Australia drilling team, working as a reliable and hardworking Drilling Offsider. He supports our senior drillers on a wide range of geotechnical and environmental drilling projects, helping to ensure operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently on site.
Known for his strong work ethic, attention to detail, and team-first attitude, Tala plays a vital role in site prep, equipment handling, sample recovery, and maintaining safe work practices in all conditions.
Outside of work, Tala is passionate about basketball—both playing and watching—bringing the same energy and commitment to the court as he does to every project.
